Summer in Auckland

Spent 10 days in Auckland house-hunting and getting to know the city. So far, the city and I are off to a pretty good start. Love that Auckland is surrounded by water. It's nice just to sit by one of the waterfront cafes and watch the world and the boats go by.

Took a boat out to one of the numerous islands surrounding the city. We packed breakfast and lunch and had a nice lil' picnic by the beach. Check out the pic below, it seems like every other family has a sailboat or a yatch or a boat or some kind.


Here's the fella who was trying to steal our lunch. Sneaky sneaky.

Apart from that little birdie who tried to steal our food, we had a perfect day by the beach. :)
