Describing my standard of Mandarin as dismal is really a nice way of putting things. I hardly ever attempt to speak Mandarin because I can hardly string together a complete sentence. So I can understand if there are a number of people who end up falling off their chairs after reading this blog!
I chanced upon this song and I really like the lyrics. (I can read much better than I speak or write for that matter.) The song is by Stephanie Sun. It's my favourite song at the moment!

this song... is OLD.. like it was out really long ago.. hee.. anyway, i have compilations of stef sun songs that i bought in sh. I'll bring back for u ya? =) heh.. Also.. there's a another nice song of hers that is 雨天. You can check that out too.. but glad u like this song cause i always sing it at ktv, but it's really difficult to sing without going off- key.

Yah man this song was yueqing's favourite song 2 years ago.. haha I still remembered YQ sang it to me when we were in a taxi in Shanghai.. yeah the taxi driver was really patient.. grins... =)
you have to understand that songs take a lot longer to get to ulu NZ...!
