returned to Adelaide on 5th january. been away for about a month. was met with a downright sorry sight. there was NO food in the house! SHOCK SHOCK HORROR HORROR!

inventory of fridge:
1x can of sunkist1x can of pepsi (there wasn't even coke in the fridge. and if you know S, that's rock bottom.)
1x half eaten bar of chocolate
1x basket of weepy eeky onions
1x packet of gum
1x cup of weird syrupy liquid
look! no food in the fridge! was so hungry during the night, i kept dreaming of food. it was a long, long night.
we were also down to ONE roll of toilet paper which we had to ration out!
first thing next morning we went grocery shopping. i think i over-compensated and bought enough groceries for the entire street PLUS rolls and rolls of 3-ply scented toilet paper with cute little prints on them! spent a grand total of $140. that's just for 2. *demented laugh* food and toilet paper! what more can a girl ask for?

the cake did catch fire AND there was a lot of smoke. not a pretty sight.
