the joint was super sleazy, the boys behind the counters were true blue ah-bengs, there were certain songs with weird filippinos in tight shorts dancing to the tune instead of the usual mtv but in all honesty, we had a pretty good time. surprise surprise!
group was divided into the sane
and the not-so-sane:
even mom and dad were bitten by the singing bug.
we planted relightable candles on yq's birthday cake and had yq blow them out.
again...
and again...!
eventually, the poor cake caught fire and melted.
hahah! completely hilarious although hj didn't find it quite as funny since she spent a whole afternoon baking it.

the ktv place took stephen and i by surprise. we walked in and was caught completely off-guard by how dodgy and truly ah-beng it looked. we had to step out and prepare ourselves mentally before heading back in again.
